Sport on Kwesé this November
Our Premier League Match of the Week (KFS, Saturdays at 17:00 CAT) is fast becoming a sporting institution. You can look out for some big clashes this month on Saturdays, including Liverpool vs Southampton (KFS, 18 November at 17:00 CAT).
Kwesé Sports, thanks to our partnership with the NBA, is also Africa's home of the world's best basketball. We bring you around 20 LIVE NBA games per week, including NBA Sundays on KFS. And if you're a fan of American sports, also look out for LIVE NFL action on Kwesé Sports 2 and KFS this month, including NFL Sundays.
In November Kwesé Sports brings you great fight action. This weekend (4 November) it's EFC 65, LIVE from Carnival City (KS1 at 21:00 CAT), and the Light Heavyweight Title fight Bivol vs Broadhurst (KS2, 4 November at 21:00 CAT). And for something a little different, check out Friday Fight Night: UK vs Africa (KFS, KS1, 10 November at 20:00 CAT). Professional boxing is not usually contested as a team sport, but Kwesé is known for going beyond the limits of TV, and we're doing it again with this event. Seven African boxers have been matched with seven UK boxers, with four titles on the line. It promises to be a fascinating night of cross-continental boxing rivalry.
The Fed Cup is to tennis what the FIFA World Cup is to football, and Kwesé Sports brings you both. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait to 2018 for the FIFA World Cup in Russia, but this month you can at least enjoy the America women's tennis team take on Belarus in the Fed Cup Final. Sloane Stephens and CoCo Vandeweghe complete a star line-up for the US as they bid for a remarkable 18th title. And, later in the month (24 November) you can also catch the Davis Cup Final, between France and Belgium.
Talking of World Cups, the Rugby League World Cup is currently on the go in Australasia. The action continues throughout November, with the final on 2 December. Look out for the big games LIVE on ESPN (CH 310 on the Kwesé TV bouquet), including Australia vs France (ESPN, 3 November at 11:05 CAT) and New Zealand vs Scotland (ESPN, 4 November at 8:05 CAT)
The Ashes, a cricket test series between England and Australia, is one of the world's oldest sporting contests and this year it’s being played in Australia from 23 November to 8 January. Kwesé Sports brings you all the action LIVE, and to get you in the mood you can check out the Women's Ashes, which starts on KS2 on 9 November.
