Africa is soccer-mad and that's why Kwesé Sports is tweaking a hamstring to bring you the world's great football events.

On Saturday don't miss our Match of the Week, which sees Liverpool travel to Brighton. Things have been a little shaky at Anfield of late, but supporters of The Reds will feel much better after their 3-0 win against Stoke. The star of that show was Egyptian Mohamed Salah ('Mo' to his friends) who scored twice and had the commentators referencing a Bangles hit from the 80s' – Walk Like an Egyptian. The other Liverpool scorer for the night was Sadio Mane, of Senegal. Catch these stars on Kwesé Free Sports this Saturday (Brighton vs Liverpool at 17:00 CAT, with Build-Up from 16:00 CAT). You can also see them in action when they play for their respective nations in the FIFA World Cup; June 2018. To get you in the mood for sport's biggest showpiece tune into KS1 or KFS for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018: Final Draw (KS1, KFS, 1 December at 17:00 CAT). We'll find out just who the likes of Egypt, Senegal and Nigeria will be grouped with at the FIFA World Cup.

Barcelona showed no mercy in mauling Murcia in the Copa del Rey. They won 5-0, giving them an 8-0 aggregate win in this round-of-32 tie. Now it's the turn of their main La Liga rival, Valencia, to see off Real Zaragoza in their round-of-32 Copa del Rey clash. Catch that match on KS1 tonight (30 November at 22:30 CAT).

In other major football news Gremio beat Lanus in Buenos Aires to secure South America's most coveted club title, the Copa Libertadores. There was much celebration in Porto Alegre as Gremio brought back the title they won 20 years ago. There's more major South American club action with the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana. Catch the second leg semifinal tie between Junior and Flamengo on KFS (1 December at 14:10 CAT).

Mesut Ozil is finding form for Arsenal, sparking rumours that Jose Mourinho wants the number ten at Old Trafford. Ozil is the sort of attacking midfielder that makes magic happen, the talisman who can spark a goal from nothing and lift players around him. He's in that sort of mood now and if you'd like to catch up on some Ozil magic, look out for the Replay of Arsenal vs Huddersfield (KS1, 1 December at 14:30 CAT), courtesy of Arsenal TV.

There's something special about English football, a bit like jam scones and the royal family – the sum of the parts can't quite account for the charming appeal of the whole. Which sort of explains the EFL Championship. The football is fast, physical and never-say-die. Look out for some Championship encounters coming up: Bristol vs Middlesbrough (KS1, 2 December at 19:30 CAT) and Birmingham vs Wolverhampton (KS1, 4 December at 21:45 CAT).

So, what are you waiting for, if you haven't already then join the sport revolution that is sweeping the continent and get Kwesé TV. With our incredible holiday specials, you won't be sorry.
