Kwesé Sports has two massive heavyweight encounters lined up for 28 July. Dereck Chisora will face Carlos Takam (of Cameroon) in a mouth-watering undercard to the main event: Dillian Whyte vs. Joseph Parker.

Parker is the New Zealander who took on Anthony Joshua earlier in the year, losing on points after a tough and entertaining encounter. Takam (35-4-1, 27 KOs) has also had his day with Joshua, losing in the tenth round to a rather controversial TKO.

Takam’s bout with Chisora will be his first since that loss to Joshua, in October 2017.

As for Dillian Whyte, the Briton enjoys a top-five ranking by the four main international boxing associations. There’s also a bit of bad blood brewing between him and Parker, with Whyte having plenty to say about Parker’s trainer, Kevin Barry, calling him a “control freak”.

Dereck Chisora (28-8, 20 KOs) is also British, but originally hails from Zimbabwe. He has held various titles, including the European, British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles.

Promoter Eddie Hearn summed up the main fight saying, “For Del Boy (Dillian Whyte), it's a real last chance saloon at world level and for Takam it's a chance to push for another world title shot after a strong showing against AJ (Anthony Joshua).”

Other fights for the night include: Kell Brook taking on Brandon Cook and Katie Taylor defending her two world titles against Kimberley Connor. And, Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medallist Joshua Buatsi takes on Ricky Summers.
