Stoke City hoping to win against Chelsea

15:45 SAST | 07 Mar 2017

Chelsea will look to edge ever closer to the title when they travel to Stoke City in Saturday’s Premier League Match of the Week, live on Kwesé Free Sports.

The Blues are eight points clear of the chasing pack with just over 10 games remaining, and it is a brave man who will bet against them picking up a second title in three seasons.

Chelsea proved their mettle in their last away match, beating London rivals West Ham United 2-1, with star man Eden Hazard again pulling the strings.

Stoke have endured something of a roller-coaster season, but still find themselves in mid-table, with midfield duo Marko Arnautović and Joe Allen key to their success.

But victory against Chelsea would prove something of an upset. The Blues have lost just once in 19 League games, and have only lost once to Stoke in eight outings – and that came during Jose Mourinho’s difficult second spell in charge.

In fact, when the teams met earlier this season, on New Year’s Eve, Chelsea ran out 4-2 winners, with Willian scoring a brace.

The match between Stoke City and Chelsea will be live Kwesé Free Sports on Saturday at 17:00 (CAT), with the build-up starting at 16:30.
