South American heavyweights Corinthians will look to continue their good form in the Campeonato Paulista when they face Red Bull Brasil on Thursday, 23 March, live on Kwesé Sports 1.

Timão have been in fine form as the build up to the start of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the country’s top-flight, having won six and lost just once in their eight games so far.

It leaves them top of Group A, with each team playing once against the 12 clubs from the other three groups. The two top sides in each group progresses to the knockout stage.

Corinthians are the competition’s most successful club with 27 titles, though they are quickly being caught by Santos, who have won five times in the last seven years.

In stark contrast to Corinthians’ rich history, Red Bull Brasil were only formed in 2007, and have been competing in the Paulista top-flight since 2015, when they reached the quarterfinals.

They have been struggling this season, and look unlikely to make the play-off stages. They have won only twice in eight games and are five points behind second-placed Linense.

The match between Corinthians and Red Bull Brasil will be live on Kwesé Sports 1 on Thursday the 23rd of March at 22:00 CAT.
