The stage is set and the fight card is stacked for EFC 58 where Cape Town favorites Don Madge will fight for the Lightweight title and Irshaad Sayed will look to redeem himself on Saturday April 8 at the Grandwest Arena.

The title fight between Don ‘Magic Man’ Madge and Dave Mazany was initially scheduled for EFC 55 but Madge withdrew due to a injury.

Mazany retained his title at EFC 55 against Leon Mynhardt and will finally touch gloves with Madge.

Irshaad ‘White Tiger’ Sayed suffered his third loss at EFC 55 by unanimous decision in a Bantamweight title fight against Angola’s Demarte Pena.

The White Tiger licked his wounds and told his new opponent Tumisang ‘The President’ Madiba, “You just another stepping stone on my way back to the top.” Meanwhile, Madiba currently rides on a three fight winning streak and will be no pushover in the Hexagon.

Future Bantamweight contender Sylvester Chipfumbu who remains unbeaten in the EFC after three fights will keep fight fans in their seats with his handy work inside the hexagon.

And, the long wait for bright prospect and three belt champion ‘Troublemaker’ Faeez Jacobs is finally over.

Jacobs holds the CFL SuperAm 60kg title, PFC Promotions K1 Pro belt and Pro SAKA number one spot in South Africa. The confident kickboxer makes his EFC debut against Jessie Fleming and said fans should not blink because the fight will be over quickly.

“It feels like all my hard work is finally paying off, although the real work only starts now,” said Jacobs. “I never stopped believing that this day would come but it’s finally here.

“I know my opponent is a bit reckless so I will look for the knockout early on in the first round,” he said.
